Family Pride Event
Joey Lizotte of Artisan Events was approached to invent a magical night in Palm Springs for the Family Pride Organization, a non-profit from Washington DC. The organizers wanted to show the adopted children at the event a movie, so Joey produced an old fashioned “Drive In” event where he “wanted the kids to have a special night.” The setting for the event was a sunken tennis court at a private residence in Palm Springs. Carousel Catering handled the food service by providing hamburgers, hot dogs, and fresh french fries made on site. And of course pizza, popcorn and sundaes, with an assortment of toppings, were also provided and added to the drive in experience. The red and white polka dot overlay linens along with themed center pieces created a festive atmosphere. During the movie the children sat on white shag carpet and big red pillows which made for a comfortable lounge area. When all was said and done Joey could gladly say “all who came had a blast, went home full and with smiles on their faces.”
