On a crystal clear night in January of 2006, Classic Party Rentals and Shari Kelly Events produced an elegant tented party to celebrate the end of the Palm Springs International Film Festival. The party was located in the famous Las Palmas Movie Colony at the private residence of one of the deserts high profile philanthropists. The theme of the night’s event was a “Tribute to Movies” and included live actors portraying stars from several famous films. Classic set up multiple tents around the house, but in order to anchor the tents, the ground had to be x-rayed to avoid a large number of under ground utilities located in the main tent area. A clear 10’x40’ tent with twinkle lights greeted the guests as they arrived onto the red carpet. The main event structure was a fast trac 50’x90’ tent joined by a 20’x40’ and a 30’x60’ canopy. The event interior was decorated in black by Classic to create the theme for Shari Kelly Events.
