Living Desert
The Living Desert Reserve, located just minutes from Palm Springs, is home to some of the most unique and fascinating animals in the world. At the annual Fund Raiser on March 25th, over 400 guests participated in a silent auction under a 100’x180’ tent built by Classic Party Rentals. One end of the structure was used for cocktails and the silent auction, and the remainder was used for an elegant dinner. The event included a stage area featuring green turf and floral accents to create a nature-scape that was augmented with rich lighting, giving a special ambiance to the entire space. Two large rear projector screens ensured that each guest could easily view all of the festivities. Next to the tent were two 30’x60’ catering canopies used by Patina Catering of Palm Spring. Classic filled a side-only cooking area with stoves, convection ovens, transfer cases and a hand-washing station. The second canopy was used for food preparation to ensure the hot food was delivered to the guests promptly.
